I was looking through some change and I stumbled upon this bizarre error. It looks like the '3' has horns, and a tail (maybe die cracks?) and the 9 and 6 both have indents in them. hmmm..... Could you help me out?
Thanks

Yes I do play lacrosse!

ANyways this is definately extra metal, and it is attached to the side of the 3 - the green spot is junk, but the 'antler' is definately part of the coin

Hi Manhandles

The three looks like it had something wiped across it , extending the metal , the flatness of the center of the number in contrast to the rounded remainer of the number is what I see that leads me to think damage . Your third picture is the best one for seeing this area I'm talking about.

Hi scout

Cuds do not occur on details of the coin.

at best it would be a die chip, but even this area looks like damage to me .take a close look at the number detail directly above the area in the pic, see the scooped out area,, I think that metal came from there !!

of course this is just my opinion.and Its ok to disagree with me .
