1982 One Cent White?

hi everyone , today I've come across a white 1982 Canada 1cent the coin is perfect only have couple finger print on it but still look shiny .


Do any one know something about a nickel 1 cent or something?

I try to take a good picture but I fail as we cant clearly see the color because of light....

If it's bright shiny metal, then the most likely explanation is that someone's plated it privately.

If the OP is still watching this thread, I'd check the weight - if it weighs the same as a normal cent, then it's been plated. If it weighs significantly more or less, then it could well be a mint error.
