People collect almost anything. Those are collected as much as those pennies (cents) with other stuff stamped on them like the ones with Kennedy stamped on the right side of Lincoln. However, I've seen coins like that one you have at coin shows and the dealers tell me they just don't sell. Usually they take any valuable coin out and have it slabbed by a reputable TPGS.
A reputable TPG would not slab a coin removed from an encasement. Until recently PCGS or NGC would not do so at all. Today they might put it in a Genuine holder. ANACS might have slabbed them as a problem coin and mention the damage.
