I'll be there, mostly just to meet up with you CCRS folks.

Too expensive for me to go.I looked at the lots in the latest CCN and placed my bids via e-mail to Chuck.

I thought that I would be able to make it again, but I've found out I have a family committment for Saturday. If enough going from CCRS or here, I may go down Friday PM for a brew or two. BiB

How was TOREX? Heritage Auctions sent two representatives from the World Coin Department. They also previewed the upcoming Canadiana Collection.

I hope you enjoyed TOREX. I heard it was a tad bit chilly. I am hoping that I will be on the list to go next year.

The only chilly thing was the hotel service.

"Everybody" gathered at the bar for show-and-tell (a wonderful opportunity to see close and personal exceedingly rare coins) and the bourse was quite agitated. As always a parade of who's who of Canadian numismatics

I managed to buy the 4 lots I set myself to buy. The 1921 50c sold after a little fight for 125K plus juice and the newly discovered token for 7K for an estimate of 3K

... I am thinking about suing Heritage: their exhibit reduced the traffic towards my exhibit: "The Twoonie is a Teenie"
