I recently obtained 3 Henry III hammered silver pennies, each NGC slabbed and graded, as follows: MS 62, MS 60, and AU 55. They are purported to be pop 1,2, and 3, although I don't have access to the NGC population reports. I also don't have access to a free price guide that lists the value of these coins. Spink only lists two lower grades. Does anyone have any idea what these coins might be worth? Thanks in advance for any information you may have.

There are tens of thousands of such coins in similar condition and so their value depends on the mint, moneyer and class.

Photographs would be of great assistance to see what sort of grades these are as NGC grading hammered coins is not of much use to me as they see so few examples.

I look forward to seeing them and helping where possible.

Kindest Regards,

Clive.

They have not yet been delivered, but I will attempt my crude version of photography when they arrive, before putting them away in the vault. Clive? Where are these tens of thousands of these coins in this condition located? I have yet to see even reference to such coins in this condition, even from largely cataloged sites such as the Fitz Museum. My research has produced scarce results. As far as the particulars, I will provide them along with the photos (should I decide to keep them after inspection, of course). Any further information would be most welcomed and appreciated.
