There are some beautiful toned US and world coins that have been posted, but I haven't seen any toned ancient coins lately. So let's fix this. Posted both of these in the ancient coin forum, but they deserve a spot here too.

I'm getting a lot of mileage out of this coin having already posted it in the Metal Detecting and Lowball Glory forums. It's a no-date Buffalo nickel that I found on the surface of a steep hill while out metal detecting last Friday. I like the red toning around the Indian's bust. Nature's handiwork after 70 years in the ground.
