I really find the toning on the reverse to be interesting. For me, it really enhances the effect of the goose flying. Unfortunately, the obverse is quite unattractive.

Lovely coins everyone!! I have a soft spot for that Victoria penny though... <3

No rainbow here, but this uncirculated 1925 Dinar from Yugoslavia was struck in a nickel-brass alloy, resulting in some mellow golds with a bit of red instead of the usual color associated with copper-nickel coins.

New pictures of a recently acquired 1789 Liard (Oord) from Brabant/Austrian Netherlands. I graded it Choice AU, there is plenty of luster around the edges still and only the slightest trace of circulation. There is some light peripheral iridescent toning, more noticeably on the obverse (the surfaces are original to the coin - no cleaning.)

This quarter was silver toned but It Changed color after 3 weeks in a plastic holder
