I did the subscription for the Silver set. I was just on the Mint site and I was looking at my order history. Looks like they put the order in on 05/04 but the item status shows "Line was canceled" .

Any idea what that means ?

I just received my silver proof set yesterday. The designs this year are much nicer than they have been in the past. Most importantly, no state outlines LOL! IMO, I like the Nevada and Colorado designs the best.

I've always collected and inherited circulated coins until recently. My husband bought me the 2006 Silver Proof Set on Saturday! They sure are bright! This is my first ever Proof! You'd think that at my age I would have done this a very long time ago. Goes to show - one is never too old or - it's never too late! Oh whatever - it's beautiful!

Dsking,

That first proof set is always wonderful! You're right, it's never too late to enjoy something new. I bought my first proof set last year and will probably continue buying them until the cows come home. Proofs are really my favorites, in any coin, but I still get a lot of enjoyment collecting circulated coins too.

Whats not to love? Enjoy!
Margaret

I got a 1964 proof set about three years ago. today, I drop the plastic-wraped set in the sink, and I hve to open the packing, because I did not whant my franklin silver dollar to be a franklin black dollar. the moral is ..... DONT DROP YOUR SETS IN WATER
Rest in Peace

I ordered mine yesterday.

Also ordered for a few family members -- kids, grandkids.

I look forward to the arrival of the coins.

I don't know what it means, but I got the same info about my subscription set. I called and was told I had to call back Tues.
Guess I'll call back Tues.

I don't know if it applies to you, but the mint is haveing all sorts of problems with their credit card information. Seems that if you have a out dated card you need to redo all the info on the site.

Old Dan:

I may be having credit card problems with the mint also.

I ordered my proof sets, however haven't gotten an e-mail response from them yet. In addition, when I check on-line with my bank, I find that nothing in the way of charges has been sent by the mint. So, on Tuesday I guess I had better call the mint and see what's going on.
