I have gotten on the mailing list from Littleton and they automatically send US coins that they choose. We've been very happy with quite a few of the coins and have taken the option to send some back that we weren't interested in. The quality seems very good and overall we are satisfied. Their prices do seem to be a bit on the high side. Does anyone else have experience with Littleton? Are their prices higher than they should be? I'm just looking for a little advice here. How are the returns on investments from Littleton? Help please! Thanks!

Generally, the "buzz" on Littleton is that their prices are rather high, and their grading is accurate.

Thanks SuperDave! That's what I was thinking. I'm glad to hear though that their grading is accurate. That makes me feel a little bit better about the higher prices. We're trying to stick with the Morgans and the American Eagles. They also have sent us a couple of Kookaburras and a Turkish Lira (all 1oz). As long as we plan on keeping them for quite some time I suppose it's an ok investment. Their newer coins are certainly bright. They are calling them "uncirculated" which I suppose puts them into the MS categories and/or Mint Condition. A couple of them are even direct from the Canadian Mint. I just wish they'd send the new Canadian Wolf! Oh duh, I could order it! Thanks again! I'll keep watching this forum to see what others experiences have been.

I think there promotion stuff to get you in is a good value, but as soon as you are one there mailing list that is where thay make there money is buy over pricing there items they send you, but like you said they do send some good stuff that you may not be able to get close by. You can get the same stuff cheaper at local coin shop but I know sometime there is not good ones close by and ebay is alway a good place if you really read and look at what you are getting. SO they are high priced but it depend on you situation on what opion you have around you for coins. on if you mind paying a little more to see the coins before you buy them.
