Apparently I did a big NO-NO in posting pictures of the castle yesterday. To Staff and Members, my sincerest apologies, won't happen again. I don't mean to be argumentative here, perhaps instead of such severe censorship, maybe a 'just because' section could be added somewhere. I'm sure others members also have a life beyond coins that they would like to share. CJ

I don't know what happened but your thread is still active in General Discussion. You may have thought it got deleted when it was moved from one part of the forum to the appropriate part of the forum. The Forum usually emails the OP when their thread has been moved from one part to another so they can find it. The General Discussion part of the forum is where you should post stuff like that and it is opt in only so if you can not see it you may not be on the list to read General Discussion posts Edit: I just checked and you are on the list to see GD topics so you should be able to see your thread in question. I tried the link and got:
"There Was A Problem
You do not have access to this forum."
Is it in some kind of limited access area?

It's the general discussion area which is for exactly this type of thing, but it's opt in only for members with 50 posts or more.

I have added some people to the list that has asked to be added because of this topic, so if you can't see the discussion and you wish to do so and have at least 50 posts all you have to do is ask to be added to the list and you will be able to read and participate in all General Discussion topics. You can send a notes to staff to get access or email a moderator or founder. Probably the notes to staff will be faster because that is the first thing we see when we come to the forum

The annoying thing about the 50 post thingy is being unable to read stuff like this. So here I am, post number #40+, complaining about the policy and getting me closer to 50. And just why do you need 50 posts to even read the general discussion posts?

Quote: And just why do you need 50 posts to even read the general discussion posts? I don't make the rules I just have to enforce them. there is everything being discussed in the GD area so it is really best to have 50 posts before you go there so you can get a feel for most of the posters there so nothing is taken the wrong way. You will kind of have a feel for how people talk on the forum so hopefully nothing gets taken the wrong way when its not politically correct in the GD area

Quote: And just why do you need 50 posts to even read the general discussion posts? The general discussion area is "hidden" because we don't want people joining this forum who weren't interested in coins at all but just wanted to waffle on about politics, religion, their cat, etc.. That would happen if the GD forum was visible to all, and it was a problem with the Open Forum over on CU, which eventually had to be shut down. Bobby and Susan didn't want that happening on their forum here.

thats not the only difference between the GD area here and the GD there, one other main difference here is there is no post count increase because you post in that area, if CU would have done that most of the members there would have a post count like they have on this board instead of hundreds of thousands of posts
