Snowman,What grade would you say it is? 0.9 Pure-does that mean 90% silver? 0.7234 ASW-does that mean German silver? Thanks again,
John1

My bad. I should have written 0.7234 oz. ASW, or just less than 3/4 of an ounce Actual Silver Weight. German issilver very different. It is actually a very debased silver. Yes your coin is 90% silver.

As far as a grade is concerned, I would grade this very fine.

Alfonso XIII became king at the moment he was born, his father Alfonso XII having died of tuberculosis. The portraits used on his coins changed several times as he grew up, from these coins where he is an infant, through his teenage years to adulthood.

Quote:
Edge has two of these straight lines

I believe that's the collar die seam, where the two halves of the collar come together when the coin is struck. Similar features can be seen on all coins of the period that have lettered or decorated edges (such as US gold coins).
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
