I picked this up at work today folks because I've never seen one before. I know some people collect old or unusual folders so I thought I'd share it.
From Numismatic News in 1984 the 25th anniversary of the Memorial cent. Took some doing for this one it seems. First the custom holder was designed by Whitman Coin Products.
There is an aluminum token and copper nickel medal. These were designed by none other than Frank Gasparro who designed the Lincoln Memorial cent Reverse.
The token and medal were struck by the Franklin Mint.
A lot was involved in producing this folder it seems. I have no idea as to it's value but a good conversation piece if nothing else. Here's a bunch of pics.
That is a very cool find! If you ever think about getting rid of it, call me. I don't know the worth either, but it is very interesting. Got to have a collector's value somewhere...
