Very nice set Moe!

Yeah, when I decide to go for the slq set, I will be saving up for the 1916 as well. Mostly because it has been my dream coin for a while. I saw a decent full rimmed PCGS AG-3 go for $1,700 on the bay recently. Expensive, but not impossible.

That seems like a good deal, although I'm not to sure what 1916's go for in lower grades. In AG-3 the date isn't readable right? I think I've heard they use die characteristics to find out.

Just my opinion Moe,,,,, doesn;t it kill ya to have that one coin missing from a complete set ? I know it does me, I have built a couple sets with super keys missing,it bothers me to no end. As I said above...............

Tony

I sure agree with you there. What really ticks me off is the manufacturers of some Albums that put slots in there that you have no way of ever, ever filling. And some are really silly too. An example of stupidity is my Albums for Liberty Head Nickels with slots for the 1913. Can't find that in change. Not even at coin shows. Same with the 94S Liberty Head Dime. At least with the Standing Liberty Quaters even the rare 16 is possible in at least G-4 for the average rich person.

Moe, beautiful set. love SLQ, might have to put them on my list of sets in the future. Carl yes indeed, albums with impossible coins included, aarrgghh I like blank albums, no dates, just the coins, nice.
