Maybe this will help. It is from his intro post:

Hello all - being new to this site and somewhat computer challenged I 'll have a few questions on navigation (maybe)...I collect Indians low and high, silver - US & Australian, and lots of errors.... I live in vampire land - if you've read Twilight you'll know where that is....anyways right now I have a nice 1869/69 re-punched Indian that has markings/makings of the elusive 1869/68...'would like to post pic(s) and see if any feedback might come...as I've said I'm new to the site and will be trying to navigate so send any help and maybe the pics will come...thanxxx all, T63

Many coin books USED to say 1969/68 then recently changed to read 1969/9. I've got a few of them and I just can not tell which is which. I can only see the top of the other number whatever it really is and it's just not clear. I suppose if someone had one in MS grades it would be a little clearer as to which number is under the last 9. I'd take a photo of mine but would need a really, really powerfull magnification on my camera.

I've hosted the pics of his coin To my eyes, it looks like the Snow-3, either a 1869/68 or 1869/69--depending on interpretation.

I have a relatively high grade example and it sure looks like an 1869/69 to me. I wasn't even aware there was ever a question -- you learn something every day!
