(Since I'm posting five different cents, I thought it would be more convenient to post them all in one thread rather then make five duplicates. They all seem to exhibit the same type of doubling.)

I believe I might have found a few "Class 6" doubled dies from a batch of wheat cents, Some of them look to me like they might be post-mint damage however, so I wanted to be certain. They all seemed to be doubled in the date, especially on the "9", so I magnified that area on each of them.

Wheat cent 1: This one struck me as being the most doubled out of the five, Most noteably on the tail of the 9 in the date.

Wheat cent 2: The 9 on this one seemed doubled at the top and bottom, or possibly just worn.

Wheat cent 3: This looked to be a minor DDO on the 9 in the date.

Wheat cent 4: Possible minor DDO, Tail of the 9.

Wheat cent 5: This one confuses me the most, The tail of the 9 looks flattened, So I believe it to be post-mint damage, but it also looks thicker then usual.

It appears that the very first picture is a DDO.

The rest seem to have various degrees of damage to the date that make it difficult to say but none after the first one appear to be anything but damage.

Thanks,
Bill

Do you suppose it's the 1944P-1DO-005?

The first coin here is a little more worn, but probably.
