Do you mean the "10 Ruble" in that auction? Yeah.I can spot some differences between a real 10 Ruble and that coin- anyone else? So here's a comparison:

Real 1899 10 Ruble obverse:
Is-That-Gold

The coin in question (admittedly a lousy pic)
Is-That-Gold

Big differences between the rim, denticles, size and position of legends, to name a few things.
If the details don't match, then I doubt it's gold either.

Seems interesting that the seller does not mention the gold coin. If real, he is going to miss out on some bidders since this coins has about 1/4 of an ounce of gold IIRC.

I do have the same coin, but mine was cleaned though.

I wonder how many of those bidders are bidding thinking they're going to get a great deal?!

Here's the cynic in me thinking: the seller seeds this lot of avg Russian coins with one bogus gold 10R coin. He makes no claims here--but collectors might spot that and say "Aha! I'm going to get a great deal" and high bids ensue. The seller may be completely innocent, knows exactly what he's doing, or somewhere in between.
Without a inspection/return policy, the risk is on the buyer.
