Anyone have any guesses on the grade on these?

What is the green stuff on the peace? Is it bad? It also has kind of a purple tone to the whole coin. My pics suck so I'm trying different lighting

I'd grade the 1925 at EF-40, lots of contact marks on this coin. The green stuff lots like contact staining from the coin resting on something copper. Acetone will take that off.

I'd grade the 1844 half also at EF-40, nice coin.

The 1833 CBH looks like it has been polished which is going to effect the grade. Detail on this coin looks to be VF-25.

Rest in Peace

I agree with echizento, although I would give the capped bust half a VF-35 details. Unfortunately it has been polished to death, and is probably only worth F-12 money at most.

The Peace dollar looks like it has some PVC contamination. Hopefully it's not verdigris, as acetone will not remove it if it is. I agree with EF-40 and the need for an acetone dip.

The seated half I would grade EF-40. I can't tell if it has been cleaned, but it most likely has been overdipped and retoned. The white center is an indicator of that.

Nice coins though, and would make a good start to an EF type set.
