I did not think they were particularly rare, but I am having a heck of a time finding a 1965 Type 2 (small beads blunt 5) in top condition (ie PCGS PL67 and or ICCS PL66 HC). Lower grades are easy, but does anyone know why these are so rare in top condition?
A population of 4 at the top HC PL grade of 66 (with no UHC's yet graded) seems to me like a coin that can reasonably be expected to take some time to find.
At the rate these sets are getting cut up and melted for silver makes these dollars and sets rarer and rarer every day.I'v put them on the endangered list!
