echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 10/20/2009 10:53 pm DVCollector is correct it is a Byzantine Trachy (cup coin). Can't see enough detail on who the emperor is. Could be Manuel I 1143-1180. This is the reverse of the coin which is usually has better detail than the obverse. Report this Post to the Staff
