Greek coins are not really my area, but #1 appears to be a real coin from Athens and #2 is a tourist copy of the first coin.

I am not convinced that the first coin is OK either. The style doesn't look right and it appears cast.

I've collected a few Athenian tetradrachms over the years. So I have some experience with them.

These are both cast fakes. Look at the soft mushy detail and low relief on the obverse of the first one. And the style is wrong. For both of them.

ADN74, if you want to buy one of these, only buy from a reputable dealer. If you need some names just ask here. And just know that you will never find one of these for cheap. If you do, that's cause for concern. Plan on paying some money for it. But you will know you have a real one.

It was good that you asked first.
