tenacious Valued Member United States 69 Posts	Posted 10/27/2009 1:37 pm I've collected a few Athenian tetradrachms over the years. So I have some experience with them. These are both cast fakes. Look at the soft mushy detail and low relief on the obverse of the first one. And the style is wrong. For both of them. ADN74, if you want to buy one of these, only buy from a reputable dealer. If you need some names just ask here. And just know that you will never find one of these for cheap. If you do, that's cause for concern. Plan on paying some money for it.
