Under their avatar is a line, also in blue, which states "Click to send an e-mail". Ironically, I see that you've not specified an e-mail address in your profile, as there's no such line under your av, so someone to whom you send an e-mail may not be able to e-mail you back. What might be is that you have not enabled access for members to e-mail you. In your profile, under contact info (top-left), make sure "Allow Forum Members to Send you E-Mail?" is set to Yes.
