The L is under the headress just behind the upper neck.

No, not all the 64's have it.

Unfortunatley no, it is not mine. I just grabbed it off the web for use as an example.

Mine IS nice, but not as bright as the one pictured. Also note my photo abilities are awful. Easier to just borrow some bandwidth. (shhh remote linking)
