I was searching through the last 3 rolls of a 40 roll lot I purchased a while back and come across this one. It has a bit of lamination at the top by the 1 in 1 cent and at the bottom. It also has extra metal on the maple leaf I don't know what that dark color is looks like a moisture mark from top to bottom the obv side

1979-1-Centis normal.
What are your thoughts on what might have caused this?

Sure looks like post mint damage rather than lamination? Something dragged across?

The top part of the 1 in 1 cent has a thin piece of extra material that looks laminated and on the bottom it is like molted ripping surface up to the K.G. Both top and bottom missing rim edges are smooth in the ruffed up areas not sharp and look like mint damage?
