US Note Collection- Silver Certs+us Notes+stars Value?

I have added the majority of notes to this collection, but my parents and grandparents found the silver certs and the us notes. I have never paid above face for a note. I was just wondering if any of these notes were worth significantly above face value. Report this Post to the Staff

Siuol Valued Member United States 273 Posts	Posted 10/31/2009 11:07 pm Thats quite the collection of notes. I didn't see anything that struck me as being too much more than face. Thats not to say they were not interesting. I liked quite a few of them such as the santa claus one and the USN 2 dollar bill with blood on it. However some of the star notes might be worth a little bit. I would suggest going to http://www.mycurrencycollection.com...s/lookup.php and looking up the serials. You might get lucky on a few. Also look on the back of any 1935 silver certificate ones you have. If they are missing the motto In God We Trust than they will be a little more than face. Good luck Report this Post to the Staff

Also watch the glare. I did not see anything special, the red seals are nice and the silver certs. too. I also like the star notes. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

I still wonder if the machine had more. I'm glad I took a 20 out of the drawer at work instead of a 10 or 5. I never would have picked these up. Report this Post to the Staff
