I'm currently working my type collection for George IV. I see a seller on ebay has 2 - 1/4 Farthings. Yet I can find no listing anywhere for a 1/4 Farthing under George IV rule.

I'm thinking he has miss-labeled them, and they are 1/3 Farthings

What do you think?

I think you're right Spinks has no listing for 1/4 farthings, just 1/3, and from the pictures given by the seller, that's just what they look like. According to Spinks, the 1/3 farthing was for use in Malta, and in EF the price given is 65 pounds. I can't tell from the pictures if they rate EF, though.

In case you need a second (or third) opinion, I agree, it is 1/3 farthing. Krause gives the value of US $45 in XF condition.

That coin looks a little too green to warrant a grade of EF. Just my opinion.
