Need help identifying a coin:

Golden coloured Coin with a Dragon/Dog on one side, what looks like a wreath on other. Sorry about quality of pic

Hi iamchrisd, difficult from the pic shown, looks more of a token. Perhaps you can post a more detailed pic of the Obv and Rev?

Yes, it's taken a long time, but here it is.

My impression is that the obverse looks a little like Javanese/Balinese temple figures. The reverse is very worn but does show a bit of the wreath/garland.

Ah, excellent. There's just enough extra information on alganbagerap's example to trigger my memory. Yes, both these coins are the same type.

It's from Burma (now known as Myanmar), 1/4 pe, 1878. Example on Zeno.ru.
