this may have been talked about before but I have watched this sellers items for a long time I have never bought from them but I just look in amazement at the coins they list isn't it kind of weird though that they sell such high end coins like this and most of it is uncertified

I visited the link, does it qualify for that phrase
"...it looks too good to be true" ? and yes, the coin is not slabbed and in the coin info specifics... it is not graded

Since 1873 was a proof only year for this series and it is a major seller, I'm not surprised it brought strong money.

If you collect this series - a major TPG slab would be advisable on this type of purchase.
