This one seems to have slipped through the cracks. Sorry about that.

The side labelled "JUDAEA CAPTA" is based on an ancient Roman coin, struck by them shortly after they crushed the First Revolt in 70 AD; it shows a woman representing Judaea seated in defeat beneath a palm tree, the symbol of Judaea; a Roman stands behind her amidst the spoils of war.

On the other side, the imagery changes - the woman is now standing up, her dignity restored, and assisted by a male figure, they bring in the harvest.

There are two numbers on this coin, which might be dates. Below the "capta" scene is the number "431"; I don't know what this number means, since it doesn't line up with Hebrew calendar dates for the Jewish revolt (which effectively ended in the year 3831, Hebrew calendar).

At the bottom of the other side is another number, "715"; this is probably the date 5715, or 1955 AD; this may be when the medal was issued.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
