AmericanMuscle Valued Member United States 101 Posts	Posted 11/29/2009 5:09 pm I came across this auction on ebay for a 1979-P SBA with a clipped planchet and would have passed right over it except the price was up to $20. So naturally I go to check it out and see what all the fuss is about. Now I don't have much experience with mint errors but this looks like a 1979-D-Custom SBA (the D stands for Dremel). What do you guys think? biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 11/29/2009 5:27 pm It has the classic signs of a genuine incomplete(clipped) planchet- the Blakesley effect is present with pronounced rim weakness opposite the clip, die flow lines extending towards the clip, and the stretching of nearby devices, particularly the stars.
