Showa Year 15, month 6 (= June 1940). Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Saruma Pillar of the Community United States 968 Posts	Posted 12/02/2009 10:04 pm Are you using a flash when you take these pictures? The problem appears to be that you are using natural light which is requiring an exposure that takes so long that you shake a little. Actually, you could work this out on your own too. That design looks a little different than the modern 1 baht coins I'm used to seeing and it appears the date may be in a different place than the coin I have in front of me. I suspect on yours the date is the writing on the bottom. Just go to a website like: http://www.into-asia.com/thai_langu.../numbers.php you can work out the date from there. The only other piece of info you will need is that they use the Buddhist calendar, so you need to subtract 543 from whatever date you get (e.g. this year is the year 2552 in Thailand).
