Hey there was a thread on making a copper coin sorter.

http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...PIC_ID=28588

Did anyone figure out how to make one or what specific model of comparitor to buy? Also where to buy it. The one in the google video is no longer on ebay. I dont want to drop 500 if I can drop 40 and get the same job done. Does anyone know if the 100$ model ryedale will be available anytime soon?

Lots of questions
Thanks

Just remember that such sorters are and do leave markings on coins. And the main thing here is you miss the possible error coins. Imagine discarding all coins after 82 since not all Copper and missing out on the extra ear one, many double dies, off centers and on and on and on. Just my opinion but I'd rather spend a little time looking at the coins.

The Ace is available now. Bought one a few weeks back and love it. It doenst use a comparitor though. Its magnet driven. All manual. I dont think its up on the Ryedale site yet, you will have to email Andy and ask about it.
