I have this huge medal. It is made of white metal (finish looks like silver matte) It is 44.7mm in diameter and 3mm thick. It weighs 42.48 grams. Any information on this (who minted, etc.) would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I knew this medal looked really familiar ... I have one! I can't find anything in any books I have, but I'm pretty certain it's a Royal Canadian Mint issue ... possibly as a handout to school children or the like, but I'm just speculating. If I find anything more I'll post it.

This is the UNC struck in CN. There was also a Silver Proof issued.
