I've found these all in the last week. No other dates earlier than the 1940s but these 4 1919s. I joked in another post about someone dumping the first one I found because he couldn't stand to keep it. I guess now he may have dumped a whole roll into circulation.

I sort through bags of wheat cents on a regular basis, and it is not unusual to find plenty of 1919P coins. Prior to the wartime cents (1940-1946) 1919 was had the highest mintage numbers of the series. However, it is difficult to find really sharp examples due to circulation and weak strikes in the first place. By the way, I'm building a roll set of wheaties (minus the keys of course). S mints are the toughest to find.
