Misprinted-Dollar-Bill,-Real-Or-Fake?-Any-Value?
I received change today and oen of the dollar bills was this, I checked closely and the flap hanging off the dollar is not taped or glued on its part of the bill and when lifted up it is blank there is also no corner on that part of the bill and what should be on the corner is cut off. please if anyoen knows if this is real or fake I would much appreciate it and if there is any value in something liek this.

Paper fold error, and a nice one, too.

It's definitely a keeper. Value? Usually it's a multiple of the face value. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that you could probably get $150.00 for it.

That is really sweet. I would love to receive a gutter fold like that one. I might consider getting it graded if you have the extra money because it look like it is almost mint. Then again a bill like that would not circulate far. Definitely a nice find .

you may want to try and find a dealer close by that has a dealer account with one of the grading companies (not sure which company is considered the best) and I don't really know how much it would cost but even if it costs 20-30 bucks to get graded you would still only have 21-31 bucks in the bill and it would be worth it because it would sell for more if you decided to sell it
