Hi!

I have problems with these coins and a medal.

I only know that the first coin is a Hungarian halfgrossus and the second one might be Muslim.
About medal I'm sure that was made in Prussia during Wilhelm II reign. So, please, help me ID this medal and don't translate the text on it - it's obvious for me (I know German as well) :) The only things I want to know it's when and why someone've made this "souvenir"...

#1 - silver,0.32g, 15mm

#2 - silver, 0.20g, about 11mm

For the medal, let Google be your friend.

If you Google the phrase "grunder DD reiches", you'll find lots of examples of this medal, and medals just like it, for sale on various European sites. This German site has two, one in VF, one in Fine/VF - scroll down to catalogue number 921-413 and -414. According to that site, they're undated but issued "circa 1915".

Both of those medals have loops attached to them; yours seems to have some damage at the top where a loop was removed, so presumably they were made with loops.

Given the assumed issue date, they are probably patriotic medals, sold to raise funds for the war effort.

Thanks a lot for this - I should've written this part of text in Google :)

Any ideas about "Muslim" coin? I'll try to take a better photo, maybe it will be more helpful :)

Better pics might help, but no guarantees. I can't even tell which way is up on those pics, or even if it's Arabic or some other script. At first glance, I'd have assumed it was Russian wire money.

The new pics don't really do anything for me except to allow me to say it's definitely Islamic.

The size and weight appear to be correct for an Ottoman silver akche like this one, but what I can see of the writing style looks different. It could be another coin from the Emirate of Sind, though if so it's lost a lot of weight, and the style doesn't quite match these coins, either.
