Thats golden!
I wonder if all the bids were legit or just him so he can bump the sell price of the other half that the shop keeper still had!

Most of this seller's listings that I have seen (Victoria 25cents) are private listings with very odd bidding patterns,I'm almost positive shill bidding is happening, and have reported it to ebay

Please tell me how you're "almost positive". I'm dying to hear it.

Pardon me while I jot down my to-do notes here ...

1. Get vise
2. Get tin snips
3. Get PayPal account
4. Hire shills
5. Get rolls of Canadian nickels; snip in half; write wild fairy tale; post on ebay.
6. Sell, package, ship, repeat

Since this halver went for $7.50, I should plan on about $15.00 income per nickel, right?
