I shot these through a loupe taped to a point and shoot. "Color is attractive but somewhat questionable" The surface is "grainy" Worthless due to doctoring?

It looks like it has been cleaned for sure but the details are fantastic. It looks a high AU or maybe a low MS. The wheat tips are crisp which makes me lean towards MS. I'm not sure how the cleaning will impact things - I'm still learning that myself.

AU details with what looks like porosity and like clintonfitch said, a probable cleaning.

The '11-S Lincoln is a great date and this coin shows very little wear. The large images may make it look a bit worse for wear than it really is. The high point above the ear could it incomplete striking as well.

Overall a valuable Lincoln.

You guys are very good... no. excellent! definitely was a victim of developing a crusty skin cancer, it got a dermal cleansing and its been "resting" growing some new skin for many years.

From arms distance, it appears too "coppery" I tried to get a picture. anyways.... It definitely looks great by itself, not so great in the album I am using for updating my catalogue.

I'm thinking of setting it in a sulfur laden album and exposing it to a more "natural" atmosphere, like a super humid salty condition at the beach.... to speed up the "natural" new skin growth of course!

Or should I continue the unnatural (IMO) process of keeping it air tight with as little exposure as possible. I mean, surrounding it in foam gasket in a plastic case. I think it is worthless except to another collector, someone who values things unlike the way the grading services do.

me? smart a$$..?

I would definately retone that coin. The best way to do that IMO is the window sill method. Put it up for a year or two and see what happens. It really does help the problem coins, they always look better brown.
