I hope this is going in the right place.
I've looked around the web and can't find info on this coin.
I'm probably looking in the wrong places.
Please tell me about this coin.

Philippines, 1 centavo minted in San Francisco (S mintmark to left of date). Only coins minted by US in two languages. I think they were part of the US commonwealth at the time.

KM#179, Bronze; Krause values: VF $0.25, XF $0.50

I would grade yours at a fine. By the way the volcano in the background is the one that's become active again. There was a thread on CCF about it.

tepritts, wouldn't most every modern coin also fall under that category (two languages)? English and Latin (E Pluribus Unum).

Point well taken on the language issue and I stand corrected. Need to upgrade the trivia reply to state modern spoken languages or only US minted coin to have both English & Spanish
