I have a few Mexican coins,but I'm curious about two of them.1988 $5000,and 1989 $1000 Juana De Asbeje.Can anyone tell me what the metal content in these are?Thanks for your help.sn31.

Hi SN, let's see.

Mexico 1000 pesos 1988-1992 (KM# 536) aluminium bronze, CV for 1989 is $3.45 in Unc.
Mexico 5000 pesos 1988, commemorative for the "50th anniversary of oil nationalization" (KM# 531), cupronickel, CV $7.75 in Unc.
