Now that is interesting. I might have to consider it, although I have gotten used to their not being dates on this pages. Decisions, decisions!

Now that this comes up I do remember seeing them in Black. I ignored them since I use Whitman and the black would not be noticable on the dark blue. I'll have to check out those at the next coin show tomorrow.
I would go nuts trying to see what coin is what without that info under them. Most of my pages have been added over the years as blanks. For example the 1982 PENNIES. Without the info under them, I'd go nuts wondering which is what. Now with 20 different ones for 2009, reallllllllllly need that info under them.
Those press ons are now a lot better than they used to be. Work much easier and don't come off at all.

Mostly I'm just working with my kids on their Jeffersons, Roosevelts, Lincolns. Most of the folders are getting filled up now so we might start on some quaters next.

And how!

What is really annoying is that Dansco just shows 2009 dates/mints repeated four times; no descriptions of the varieties (like they did for 1982).

They did the same thing in 2004 and 2005 for the Westward Journey nickels. Very annoying. It might be worth it to get the extra letters just to correct these omissions (except that the nickel pages leave little room for this).
