This is one of the best one I have every found ( that is half anyway) A 1858-0 seated half. I can't see any wear on it , even the stars have no wear.

To be honest, the surfaces look a little bit odd, which leads me to be concerned about the authenticity. I can't put my finger on it. That could very well just be the photo, but the fakes I've seen kind of have that "look". I agree that there appears to be little to no wear on the coin; so I would guess the grade would fall between AU-58(minimum) to MS-64. It would need a lot more luster than what is shown to make MS-65. If genuine, it is a very high quality coin.

I think it might just be the picture the makes the surface look grainy. Again could just be the picture but I see what looks like some rub on the feathers on the eagles legs and no luster. I'm going to say AU-58.

I'm going to have to agree with AU-58 to.
There looks to be some wear on the feathers of the left leg and the top of the left wing.
Stars 1,3,4,5,7 it may be weak strike but the center detail leads me to wear.
All this may be weak strike. If it is MS-63 without seeing it in hand. If it is wear AU-58
But all in all NICE COIN

This is a fantastic coin!! Gorgeous!

I was with Johnny54321 initally, thinking this coin may not be authentic. The obverse shield looked a bit weird to me, particularly.
But after examining the coin pictures versus my own 1858-O the coins appear to be the same as far as date, mint and other details. A bit of toning doesn't hurt either.

If it's a fake it's a great one, and if it's real, (which I now think it is) it's a wonderful example of a great design!

I say MS62. I don't see the wear (at least in these pictures).

NICE, NICE, NICE!!
