Thanks (& nice to know I'm not alone with that perspective) Mid-level denominations (Five, Tens & Twenties) are also tough for many of the smaller island nations (or dependent territories). While Twenties would have been considered a high denomination during the WW1-2 era, by the 1970-90's I would consider these more mid-level (50-100 being high). Dispargum New Member Germany 28 Posts	Posted 12/19/2021 06:15 am This is one of my latest acquisitions. When Bhutan, isolated behind the mountains, first issued banknotes back in 1974 no one took notice. This is the highest denomination of the second emission in 1978 (according to local catalogue) or 1981 (according to SCWPM catalogue). Unforunately I have only been collecting banknotes since 2013, but I have read, that 15 years ago this note was hard to get in UNC. Nowadays I was very glad to get this one even in the shown condition. It brings me down to two missing notes from Bhutan. Report this Post to the Staff

So I scoop up some cheap emergency issues here and there :) Belgium, Châtelineau 1918: And from Germany (1921) a set from Münster (comprising a 75 Pf (light green) and a 1 Mark (yellow) as well but apart from color, denom and s/n these are identical).
