When we stopped over at their airport we could only deal with credit cards in 2022. The 100 Korun is from 1993 & during the transition from their Russian-puppet state existence: I like this note as it shows the Charles Bridge which my wife & I enjoyed strolling across on our trip there. The 2nd 200 Korun note is P-19g from a 1998 issue but printed in 2018 when we actually visited Prague: I think the contrast in the 2 designs nicely show how the nation has grown. Why odd (I almost hear you ask)? Because, most of the 2022 50 Pesos I have seen -have marks for the blind (right border). The example below (with FM prefix) does not. I just looked at the Numista entry for P-31 & realized it had a different design. It is the 1985 design when the BoT issued a revised series with a different design (P-37) and the first "Bobb" signature. Sorry for any confusion. This is P-30b with the same "Euric Bobb" signature though the $1.00 is much easier to get than the $5.00. I was going to post this inexpensive (& easy "low hanging fruit") note from Japan when I saw your Trinidad $5.00 & incorrectly assumed it was that tough variety & boy did I go off on a tangent!... Here's the 1 Yen from 1946 Japan (P-85): It features Ninomiya Sontoku who apparently was a notable agriculturalist who practiced prudence & frugality. He is revered in Japan for the fact that he was once a peasant, yet built himself a business empire (started one of the first credit unions there) & helped local communities (& many individuals rise out of poverty).
