Looks like a Struck Through or a Lamination to me. With the new pictures, I don't think it's PMD.

My initial reaction is post-strike damage. Is that a 'pushed metal' raised berm at the base of the S?

Looks like damage to me, you can see displaced metal
at the top from being pushed up. There are also other
damaged areas at the top of the head.

I believe it is PMD. However, I would still label and keep it for future comparison.
