Doing a little digging myself: The Romanian poet is Lucian Blaga (& there is a version of the P107 note with an unusual BNR watermark). For the 500 Pengo (P117) the portrait of the lady first appears in 1923 on the 500,000 & 1,000,000 Korona notes (P79 & P80). Can't wait! It is SOOooooo dangerous to have a glass of wine in hand while shopping for bank notes on ebay.... And every time I buy a group of notes I really want to expand my collection to a type-style collection of at least one note from every country that's ever used paper money. Oy!
