I think about the hands a WWI or WWII era banknote have passed through, for me it's not always about the monetary value of a banknote. I've got really interested in wartime banknotes of late, Germany, Hungary, Eastern Europe. I mean, you can purchase a banknote from the time of the French Revolution for around £5-£10.
