This is a horse that never gets old. I know we beat it to death but this almost made me spit my coffee out when I saw it.

Behold!....the "1909 Large S"

Isn't it illegal to post a fake coin without it stating it is a copy or fake ? Maybe if he listed it as a rare fake error coin, missing the copy stamp on the back he will get some takers..

Usually, people come on here talking about some fake or another, and I just scratch my head. This one, even I can spot.

This coin is about 3 inches big, a great novelty coin. Thanks

He added that today. It looked like a novelty coin to me, but it should have said so more clearly and shouldn't have been in the cent category on ebay.
Rest in Peace

he probably added that after seeing my question, it was: Why are you selling a fake coin? theres no such thing as a "large s". you wont get any bids no matter how long you sell it.
he replied:By large I ment the coin is large. Its about 3 inches big.if it were a real 1909 s vdb the starting price would be way more. sorry for thew misunderstanding, thanks
so I guess we ALL misunderstood him HAHA!

He doesn't say its a "large s" he said it was a large cent...maybe he figured it was common knowledge that there is no 1909 large s ....(At least I dont know of any)
