That looks like a 2 'shu' manen piece from Japan. The coin should be gold, and should be priced accordingly; at least $130 and probably more. If it's less, then it's likely a reproduction, yes.
The colour of the coin looks off to me- but then again the pictures are blurry.
It's difficult to be 100% with this type of coin, but it does appear to be legit. Krause has it listed as C#18a 2 shu (Nishu Gin) and should weight .7500 grams. composed of .229 gold and .771 silver. With a book value of $65 in EF.
