For a brief description of the Queen Elizabeth II effigy on Canadian coins -
Faces of the Monarch
http://www.mint.ca/store/mint/learn...arch-1100026

And here is a page I just ran across which covers QE II on coinage of Gibraltar -
Changing Portraits on the Obverse
http://www.treasury.gov.gi/gibralta...ortraits.htm

Of course, neither sites (including the site listed by svslav) mentions the crowned effigy sculpted by Cecil Thomas and which appears on the coins of Hong Kong, the East Caribbean, Belize, etc....

EDIT:
Here is another effigy from Canada....

Turtleoverhead, I do recognize that one! I think it was made in the United Britain of Hot Tub Time Machine. You need to go to the Krause Unusual Coins book for that one. I think its number is KMChina4.
