Newbie here,

I live in southern Arizona and need a coin appraiser I can trust. If anyone can reccommend I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Newbie

Let me do some snooping and asking. Are you doing a coin, a few coins or a collection? I'm in Mesa so will probably be concentrating in the Phoenix area, but I'll ask around about Tucson. What are you trying to do? Insurance, estate? It makes a difference. You may e-mail me privately from my profile if you would prefer. In the meantime, hopefully others will pick up on your posts and give you suggestions also.

My dealer, who I trust, does appraisals. He will charge $50/hour. If the appraisal is for liquidating then he waves the hourly charge. Have you checked with dealers in Tucson or on-line?
